ABOUT THE DESIGNERS

SY Designs, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Marjorie Sobiloff and Cathy Yohay. Based on a passion for beautiful design and a love of decoration, their collaborative efforts bring a unique and personal touch to the interiors they create. Knowledge and appreciation of antique, vintage and modern furniture and objects allows the team to personalize the spaces they design. Marjorie Sobiloff trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York School of Interior Design. She attributes her extensive experience in the selection of fabrics, trims and colors to 25 years in the fashion industry. Always searching out and experimenting with new styles and trends keeps each project new and exciting.Cathy Yohay is a graduate of R.I.T. with a BFA degree in Jewelry Design and training at The New York School of Interior Design. Cathy’s eye for striking details and fine workmanship bring exciting sensibility to the partnership. Her optimistic approach to challenging projects makes anything possible.
